October 01 Fresh out of the oven!We just heard in Redmond, that Office 12 will include built-in PDF support, so Word and other apps will be able to simply "save as" pdf files. This is pretty exclusive, it was first announced at the MVP Summit here.

We watched Morcheeba and Sean Paul. Sean had such a laaaaaaaaaaaaaarge crowd, probably, the largest I've ever seen...We heard some tracks from his new album (release due this fall, he told us) and also some all-time favourites (Like Glue, Get Busy (at the very end), Baby Boy, etc). Now, it's time to hear some underground hip-hop (Animal Cannibals).

IT'S HERE! IN MY OWN HANDS! After a loooooooooooooooooong waiting (I had the Active Desktop Channel with the countdown on my desktop since 3 months) I got my copy just at the same time other millions got....see this Reuters article to see what happened exactly at that crazy evening;-)

well, i am currently only at pg. 200 but I realized a couple of things...
-My fav. char. Draco is no longer a student who is always afraid, nono, he is much more brave in this installment.
-Snape gets his longly-awaited subject, DaDa (for you muggles, Defense Against the Dark Arts
 )-Somebody gets killed from the main characters (yet still I don't know who)
-The Dark Lord gives a task to Draco, but Narcissa, is against it..yes, mothers always protect their sons.
-Harry meets Narcissa once again.
-Olliwander escaped from war and his shop is closed tight.

wellwell, the years biggest event...with less, than a month left, i am starting to get excited 'bout that.
Francois, a close friend of mine and his friend will come for the event, just before leaving to Redmond. (I met him in Prague, he is quite a coder guy, with great VC#.Net expertise) and I will be their tourist guide :-) They are already excited about this city and I will try my best to make them their visit to Hungary their best trip ever (whow, I could even go working to Tourinform :P)
Also, my best classmate and friend, Tibi will also come for a day, along with those on the list at http://sziget.mgyuri.hu so I think I'll never be alone for a day ;-)

Heehee, we are nearing beta 1! 9 days left till the build goes out to testers, as it is no longer NDA (found an article on the net:)), I can tell that this build is pretty stable and ready for self-hosting. I am looking forward to B2 which will feature more of the planned features. Avalon, here I come!

g June 23 Basketball camp in Tel-Aviv, Day #0Hi all,
as you can see from the date it is pretty late/early here. We just arrived in the hostel with the rest of the team at the training camp of Maccabi Basketball SC. I am too tired to pack my things out so I am just surfing on the net and writing this entry. We will have an introduction session tomorrow (or today) followed by a sightseeing in the city, finishing in a restaurant for a welcome party...I am grateful they didn't want us to be at a dinner at 2AM lol. I'll post pics when I have.
now its time for some sleep

respect, g June 12 Report from SportszigetErm. in one word, it was: Great. Our team (MonkeyZ) consisted of me and 2 friends of mine finished as the sixth at the Soproni Jam Freethrow Cup (Basketball, of course) (out of 30 teams), so I am pretty proud of that lol. The longly anticipated concert of P.A.S.O., was amazing, see a video part here, I'm gonna add SKA music to the list of the styles I like... After the throw cup and the concert, we went to watch the WBA Allstars match against the Hungarian Converse team. They were pretty lame See a video of the coach's intructions here.

I expected such a better teamwork from that team. Oh well, they are "All-Stars" or whatever... Notwithstanding with the fact that I am Hungarian, but I knew the All-Star team already, and one of the players in that team are from my favourites, aaaaaaaaaaand the fact that I don't know even a single player from the hungarian team, sooooooooooooo I hoped that the visitors win, and was a fan of them during the whole match...as a result, "they" (the Hungarian team) won.|
